Hi Lynette,
Could you tell me more about Antonilla Cantelli??
Did she work for Aemelia Ars??
And how did you know that she made this pieceof lace??
Thank you for the informations.
Margaret
Hi Margaret, I have the book with Antonilla's pieces in it. It is called, "L' Aemillia Ars di Antonilla Cantelli" & it is written by her granddaughter Barbara Cantelli. If you want to learn how to do it there are two very good instructional books which are in Italian but the photos & illustrations are excellent. They are, "Fiori" and "Bordi" written by several ladies.
Thanks Lynette,
Where can I find those books??
Margaret
My books came from Italian Needlework but it is now out of business. If you put the titles of the books into Google search engine suppliers should come up.
Both Fiori and Bordi are currently available from Van Scivre Bobbin Lace supply http://www.vansciverbobbinlace.com, along with a few other Aemilia Ars books.
