Generally i find that "how to" books assume prior knowledge of the subject leaving you with a gap in information and therefore rendering it unsuitable for a beginner.

Not so with this book. I purchased it as a second hopeful choice having found my first purchase suffering from the above mentioned malady. This publication is well written in a language that is accessible to the novice. It is clear concise and easy to follow. The diagrams are big enough to follow the detail and the book progresses in a logical way. Once read I found myself saying "i can do that" which in my opinion makes this a 5 star purchase and a book i would recommend.  My only criticism is the lack of colour which is only relevant for the inspirational pieces of work towards the end of the book but this did not detract from my satisfaction.

I found this an excellent book, too, and always recommend it to beginners.  I am glad you found it useful.

I wish it had been available when I started Needlelace!!!
