This website has photos of Halas lace. The gallery page has a video, which has some brief shots of the lace being made. The laces are not shown in enough detail. But the catalog page does have some images which can be enlarged, so stitches may be identifiable. http://www.halasicsipke.hu/start_eng.html
A facebook page, be sure to look at the PHOTOS. https://www.facebook.com/HalasiCsipke

I am jumping in here with some Halas designs I tried in 2003 using Pat Earnshaw's book, "Outlines and Stitches". The first one,Kokopelli, has only one ground stitch as I was concentrating on the design using the circular openings and learning the darning stitch as well as working the edge. The second one, Rabbit, has more fillings. I have never tried making another one.
Marie Laurie has a book about Halas Lace 'Hungarian Needlepoint Halas Lace' ISBN 064639097. She has visited the country many times and attended classes there, and was given permission to write the book about this lace. Information about this lace is tightly controlled so it remains true to type.

There is not much written material on this form of needle lace yet. If you look at the box above, just under the group's icon, there are some websites which have a little information. The halasicsipke site and the youtube videos are probably the most useful. There is also a book by Pat Earnshaw OUTLINES AND STITCHES: A GUIDE TO DESIGN WITH SPECIAL REFERENCE TO HALAS NEEDLE LACES.
I would like to know more of this fit and materials. where I can encontarar this information please.?
eBay alert! "Lace Outlines and Stitches" by Pat Earnshaw, which has coverage of Halas technique, is for sale right now on eBay for US$9.95 plus shipping. I'd snatch it myself but already have it!
sure looks pretty
