Lovely straight rows, nice tight cordonnet. Well done. Now, when you do your corded Brussels you need to work right in to the edges. This is hard to get the knack of, but it prevents you getting holes along the edge.

Thanks, Lorelei, for your comments. I am going to try and do another one and use one of the hand drawn designs that you have posted. this time I plan to use finer cordonet thread and see how it comes. I really enjoyed doing it and a small piece is a great portable project.

Well done! I wondered whether you had begun a needlelace piece, since we hadn't heard from you. I'm glad to see that you have started. Check out our BEGINNERS group and post questions and comments about beginner pieces there, so all the other beginners can see what you are doing.
