There appear to be 2 slightly different densities in the solid parts. The parts with diamonds and other patterned openwork seem to be very slightly less dense. The parts with just openwork veins appear to be slightly more dense. Is this the difference between plain corded Brussels and twisted corded Brussels? Am I imagining things? Was this a normal working method?
