The flower shapes are similar to the one you already have displayed in white. Both flower and leaf motives were part of my beginners class. The colours really do give it impact don't they? I did use variegated thread for the leaves, but I started at the centre vein and worked towards the edge. It was all purely an experiment and I was pleased overall with the result. What I would do differently next time - if I was using a coloured edging (as in the white one) - I would lay the coloured thread being used over the cordinette before stitching so that none of the main colour showed through if I was a little sparse with my buttonhole stitch.

This is very pretty and the colors do add a lot. The shapes don't look too difficult. It looks as if you didn't use variegated green thread for the leaves, but actually changed colors for each row.
