I started needlelacetalk a few years ago because I felt that if the techniques and working methods were more readily available, along with personal help and advice, that more people might develop an interest in it. Needlelace has virtually unlimited possibilities in terms of modern work and design. But books are rare, and the difficulty of developing good technique deters too many people. I wanted to educate the world as well. So I limited this group to true needle lace to encourage activity related to that form alone.

I don't know if needle lace will be any easier, with your arthritis. I hope it will be. You might enjoy looking at the work of our members. Most of our photos are members' work, with just a few antique pieces.

Don'e hesitate to ask questions, or to comment.

Welcome. Please read all the NOTES. They explain our policies, the laces we include, and how the software works. Join any groups that interest you. We do have one for RETICELLA. We also have several members who have done some very complex reticella and geometric cutwork embroidery. If you have any questions about this site, contact me and I'll try to help.
