Mainly quilting, beading and embroidery, I recently discovered Reticello through a friend at one of these groups and 'fell in love'! I have always done hardangar, and some basic needle-lace, so am sure it will be fine, it seems a good learning curve! Where are you based? Best wishes, Jean

Welcome. Please read all the NOTES. They explain our policies, the laces we include, and how the software works. Join any groups that interest you. There are some forms of lace that are specifically Irish -- Kenmare and Youghal. But I suggest you start with the BEGINNERS group and learn the basic method of needlelace. There are other forms of Irish lace making which this network does not include -- Irish crochet, and embroidered net.
