What weight thread do you suggest for jewelry?

I'm new to the group, and "forum challenged", what weight thread would work best for jewelry?  Right now I use oya to trim my dolls  - for that I use my fine bobbin thread lace threads.  Is silk the best thread for it?  I appreciate any guidance.See More

Also, I make small dolls in historical dress - These dolls and lace are my two passions. It's because of my dolls that I first got interested in oya.

Welcome. Please read all the NOTES. They explain our policies, the laces we include, and how the software works. Join any groups that interest you. We do have one for OYA, and we have several albums of oya photos. Go to our PHOTOS section and click on ALBUMS. Tell it to alphabetize the albums -- it will be easier to find the ones you want..
