"Sorry about the photo, I have since learned that the best way to take pictures, is to scan them onto the computer, my more recent efforts have been much better. Thank you Lorelei for the info!!"

"Well done. It is very pretty, and the thicker thread is  ok - well, in the photo, anyway! I think one has to use whatever thread you can find - or are able to see, and use, - and don't worry about it being different to what the book tells…"

"It really is a beaut piece. - What thread have you used? (I presume it is the same thread as you sued for the crocheted cords?"

Hi Jean, I love making lace for the pleasure of making them. These flowers can be used in many ways: for example, in a bouquet of colorful wildflowers for a bride, in her hair in chignon, neckline of a dress or corsage, in the shabby homes on the ribbons to group the curtains or on lampshades etc.

The pattern for the bracelet was in an IOLI Bulletin a couple of years ago.  If you don't have it, let me know and I will email the pattern to you.

Thank you for the friend invitation. We Brits certainly should stick together as should Lacemakers throughout the world. Happy Easter Maurren

I am also new in the needlelace group, and new in this tenique. I always crocheted.
I don't know if I will be able to do needlelace, I did richelieu, so needles are not totally strange for me, maybe I succes in doing some basic work.
Greetings, Béatrice.

Welcome. Please read all the NOTES. They explain our policies, the laces we include, and how the software works. Join any groups that interest you. We do have one for RETICELLO, which includes both the embroidered geometric cutwork and geometric punto in aria. Take some time to explore. Each group has links to online resources, and book lists. If you have any questions about our site, contact me and I'll try to help.
