Jennifer, - please add me to your "friends" list.

I am happy to be able to help. Keep asking questions - it is the best way to learn, - and really, - that is what this site is all about. Lorelei set it up for needlelacers to swap ideas and help eachother, - and the more the site is used - the happier the Administrator (Lorelei) will be!!!!!!!!

I wish this site had been around when I started the craft.  I learned from books, and a kind lady at our 6 Lace Days (per year) who offered advice, and showed me a few tricks - she usually brought a piece of her lace to show me each time!  then I got a workshop which, after the first day I came home and told my husband - "Now I understand what the books are telling me to do"!!!  I have had 2 othser wonderful workshops, which have helped enormously, so if you ever get a chance - try to go, - they give you a great leap forward.

Jennifer

Welcome.  Please read all the NOTES.  They explain our policies, the laces we include, and how the software works.  We do have a group for Mediterranean knotted needle lace, called OYA.  You can join it and any other groups that interest you.  There is a long list of resources on the opening page of that group.  If you have any questions, contact me and I'll try to help.
