"Going around the 4 petalled flowers Twice is a good idea. That makes them nice and firm around the edge, and looks great. That figure of 8 stitch as a small border is very nice, too.  Hmm!! You are giving me Lots of ideas!!!!! :)"

This piece is just amazing! I hope one day to be this good. I am experimenting with a much smaller piece for my first one. I was more amazed about how hard it is to find netting that is not synthetic. I finally found some cotton but boy is it expensive.

Hi, Julie. It's a pleasure find you here. Your work in Stitchinfingers is so lovely. You are a great embroiderer and lacemaker.

Don't respond to that friend request by princess.  She is a hacker who has tried to infiltrate at least 4 times.  I no longer think she is a spammer, as I did at first, but something worse and more destructive.  Thanks for telling me about the problem.

I think filet-Burato does fit.  After all, the embroidery stitches which decorate the fabric are the same, and nowadays most people who do filet lacis use a purchased net.  Human creativity invents so many borderline categories, it drives me nuts.  Do post some photos of your work.
