"Elizabeth Ligeti, my little pink wine caster was worked on Belfast 32 ct in Baby Pink. I used DMC coton a broder #25 in color #3713 for everything. I will probably use color #224 next time as I think it matches better. I did not have that color in…"

"OK.  Being new to all this, when they say 25, 30, 35 etc. exactly what type of thread are they talking about?  Coton a Broder?  Cordonnet?"

"Well done!  Very neat, smooth stitching. You must have blocked it or ironed it -- the waviness on the edge has disappeared."

I see that you figured out how to edit what you typed in.  Where do you think you will start? Be sure to look at our albums of photos. There are lots and lots of lace, some antique, but most made by our members. You will find beginners' work and expert master pieces.

Kathy

Welcome. Please read all the NOTES. They explain our policies, the laces we include, and how the software works. We do include both embroidered reticello and needle lace reticello (punto in aria), but not punto antico. Are you a member of stitchinfingers? There are some people there who make punto antico.  http://stitchinfingers.ning.com

If you have any questions, contact me and I'll try to help.
