Another question, - after looking at your blog, and drooling over your beautiful lace -

What is the silk thread you use?

do you use various thicknesses in each piece, ore one thickness for the whole of the piece?

Do you do all your lace in the twisted stitch? - or most of it?

Your work is so beautifully even. I wish I could get mine looking like that!

I think I "discovered" needlelace at too late an age. If I had been young when I started, then I might have had the patience to practice more carefully at the beginning!!
