Dear Pat, You have a phenominal memory! With all of the folk you must meet fancy you rememboring me & my work! Yes, I was affected by the quakes. Have just had my house & driveway repaired, also my elder son & wife's home too. My younger son lost his house completely & the land was full of liquifaction. He now lives quite close to me in a newer home. It has been a terrible time for all of us but at least I am alive to talk about it! Lovely hearing from you. I have done quite a lot of needlelace since being in your class. Many thanks to you!
Hi Pat .. I am hoping that this will reach you. I have been trying to track you down for a while with no success. After spending nearly 8 years in Normandy (10 for John) we are back in Cape Town and I am once again very involved with the CEG. I have been thinking of you as I have been adding some needlelace techniques to some of my recent work. I would like to make contact with again and catch up on what you are doing.
Hello Pat, Elizabeth Legeti mentioned on here that the Guild of Needle Lace was closing. They are supposed to have a stand at the lace fair I'm going to in Pudsey next weekend so will find out for definite then I guess.
Don't worry about the gros point pattern. I have no intention of sharing it with anyone. I assumed that it would be covered by the same kind of copyright as the patterns in your book to be honest so offering it to anyone else never crossed my mind.
I just finished one of the couronnes for the butterfly wing so intend to get it all free from the backing and stitched together tonight - hopefully in time to take to the Embroiderers Guild meeting tomorrow. Watch this space for photos of the finished article.
Thanks again for all your help this week. I thoroughly enjoyed the workshop.

Welcome. When I wrote the email I didn't know who you were. I am assuming you are the Pat Gibson who writes about needle lace.
