both sides?

When it says that both sides have to "look the same", for the skeleton, how do I get the 4 threads on the back?

I am following as best I can, the slideshow, but I am confused also about how many threads there are, is there the one thread on the needle (doubled) and the four other pieces (all one piece) separate from the needle thread?

Thanks in advance.

Welcome.  Please read all the NOTES.  They explain our policies, and how the software works.

Join any groups that interest you, for instance:     Look at the long verbal section under the group logo.  Under HOW TO MAKE PAG LACE are a set of 5 links to the stages of making a small mat.

You have come to the right place to learn Pag needle lace.  We have a member who has been making sequential photos of the process so we can follow along and understand what to do.  Several of us are working at it now, at different speeds.

Take some time to explore our site.  If you have any questions, contact me and I'll try to help.
