I had to take a little pause from ...well from thinking ;) because I had to finish another crafty project for the 12th of June (some sewing).
Now I am back to my needlelace project, thinking it will be wise to follow the advice I received and perhaps trying something easier than a pair of dragonfly wings to begin with.

I was thinking to make some drop-shaped forms and try different stitches on them (the ones which look nicest thinking about the future wings).

Besides, also drop-shaped forms could be used as wings eventually ;) http://www.oreghislieri.it/oreghislieri/18/5/Il_manoscritto/La_deco...

I am wondering if the online Encyclopedia found in the resources which seems to explain very well will be enough.
I am a little scared to make the jump and begin !!! But I also look forward to have some results !

On my website I have a page on learning needlelace. About half way down is a list of links to online lessons, and some of them are very good. If you don't have any beginner's books on hand they might get you started.
