Make, learn and talk about needle lace.
The original plan was to make it a hankie corner, and actually use the hankie. But I've had 2nd toughts about that. Maybe I'll just frame it. I have some acrylic frames, call float frames, which are completely transparent, so they are good for mounting lace. And the lace in the frame can be easily switched out. So I can rotate my pieces every 6 months or so.
I love the idea of being able to switch out the lace so you can cycle and view your precious pieces. I completely understand the reluctance to use this on a hankie that is in active service!
There is a company called Jule-Art which makes acrylic frames for photos. And another which makes what they call "Float Frames". But I have been having troubles contacting JuleArt. They are located in Arizona, which is a clovid hot spot.
