I created this pendant for mi daughter a few days ago. It can be a cute present (maybe for Christmas), so I am adding drawing+explanations in case someone wants to try and create it.
Thread: DMC n. 80 (3,7cm width).
1. Build the square (20 knots basis), inner squares are 4 knots basis).
2. on two of the sides build two 4 knots basis squares.
3. Complete the contour on its own, starting from left to right, giving the heart shape.

Hope it's clear, if not please ask, I'll be glad to answer.

We have a group for PUNCETTO, a knotted needlelace with geometric designs, usually rectangles. Our PUNCETTO group's opening page has lots of links. I especially recommend Avital's and Brona's sites for good instruction.

I really love the looks of the finished piece, but have no idea how it was done, but would surely like to learn more about it.  It is just lovely..!

Hi Linda, did you try the "view full size" button? If it still does not work I'll try to post another picture.

Wow, that's really innovative. I wish I could see a photo of the heart from above so as to admire the lace work.
